I am in need of clearing and this is timely for me too. I keep tripping on positive messages about letting go, allowing things to fall away as part of the natural cycle of building, thriving, declining, falling away and ultimately renewing again. Do you suppose the universe is sending me a message?

We need to make space, as you say to embrace a sense of spaciousness and ease, to make room in our lives for change and growth. The way you talk about it with such love, ease and grace; that is the way I want to do my clearing. It always felt like a difficult chore, one that in the past I have approached kicking and screaming. A new perspective, a renewed commitment and a new focus on the gift you give yourself when you let go.

I've been struggling, not with things, but with memories since my mother died, and again with my father having health problems. I appreciate the reminder that I can set the memories aside, with all my love, and move ahead into whole new experiences without any sense of disloyalty or conflict. Thank you. What wonderful timing - I'm going to my storage unit tomorrow to make a start on clearing it out. I put everything I owned in there 18 months ago when I left the UK, and all the travelling has left me feeling much less in need of stuff than before. I very much want to pass on and recycle as much as possible - and I do hope that I won't get seduced by its siren song when I start opening boxes! Kate´s last blog post..Working with Change

I just started another round of clearing things out around my house. This post comes at the perfect time… when I’m trying to decide between what stays and what goes.
